Recording & Production
With over 40 years experiences in bands, playing live and recording, Paul knows good sound when he hears it. He writes, records and produces his own material from his digital studio and uses Logic Pro & Universal Audio’s LUNAR recording system.

Taking a basic song or idea to a fully produced track takes experience and know-how. To bring his own songs to fruition, Paul has written, recorded, arranged and produced the majority of his own material. When required, Paul draws on the experience and talents of contacts in the music industry from drummers and percussionists to brass players, and other musicians he’s met along the way. But most of the songs Paul releases feature him on acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, vocals and backing vocals.

In his Surrey studio, you can bring and record your own instruments (excluding drums*), and vocals, or send .wav files for mixing and production.
If you would like to add real drums and other instruments, Paul can arrange this via his network of musicians including Ben Gordelier (Paul Weller), Jacko Peake ( Paul Weller), Steve ‘Smiley’ Barnard (The Mock Turtles, The Alarm and Robbie Williams)…and more!
*Drums are created in midi unless a real drummer is required, plus brass, keys and other instruments and effects are available via midi.

If you have a track that you’ve recorded and want to add Paul’s style to it, Paul can record the following at his studio and send .wav files to add to your own track.
